Every press Hurts

Every Press Hurts is a small fast-paced survival game where the only way to save yourself is to make things worse.

You move around a neon arena, dodge enemies and hazards, and try to stay alive as long as possible. In the middle of the arena is a button. When the situation gets bad, you can run to it and press it for help. The catch is that every choice gives you a benefit and a downside. You might heal, freeze hazards, or gain an extra life — but at the same time enemies may get faster, lasers may appear, or movement may get worse.

The whole game is about surviving your own decisions.

Controls

• WASD or Arrow Keys to move
• Space near the middle button to use it
• Pick one of the 3 options and deal with the consequence

Each run is short, chaotic, and a little different. The goal is simple: last as long as you can.
